Reflection on the use of a mix template

I enjoyed using a mix template for this track, I kept my project way more organised than I have done previously however it still looked messy by the end. In my next projects I will continue to work on the organisation of my projects by sticking more closely to my templates I make for each track and also by using the colour coding feature logic has to make each track look more distinct.

Having the tracks and send effects ready made composing and mixing much easier for me as I had resources available for me from the beginning of composing my track, this made it easier to have a plan and stick with it. I did not stick completely to the mix template I created as I ended up using one of my synths for a different purpose than I intended, I do not think diverting from this plan was a bad thing as I was happy with the results. I also did not use all of the tracks in my template, I did not end up using the sampler as I do not know very much about how to use it and found the idea of using the sampler in this piece quite intimidating, I know how to load sounds into the sampler however before putting it into my mix template I should have practiced manipulating sounds with it first so I would’ve been more confident and would’ve produced better results.
